We would like to welcome you and your child to M.I.L.L.S. We hope, pray that your child's learning experiences will be a happy, wholesome one. As parents, you are invited to visit us often, ask any questions, or make any suggestions. The best assurance for the success of your child's developmental experiences is close cooperation and understanding between parents and staff.
M.I.L.L.S. is operated as a development of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
We, the staff of M.I.L.L.S. Child Development Center feel we will make a difference in a child's concept of God and the world around him or her and how he or she relates to those concepts.
Chapel
Chapel is held on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM. Girls should wear their dresses or skirts. Earrings only, no other jewelry.
Personnel
All staff members will be of good moral character and have proper screening and certification. All staff will have certification in CPR and first aid.
We accept children from 13 months to 5 years old. Dress code for our school is blue uniforms for children as well as staff. A child will be enrolled and permitted to attend after the following items are completed:
Completion of registration forms and fees.
A health and physical form signed by licensed physician to be renewed every two years.
A Florida Certification of Immunization (a new one each time child receives another immunization).
A copy of child’s birth certificate and social security card.
Payment of first week pre-payment.
Sign and return emergency medical treatment form and nutrition form.
We need records on all children no matter the length of time stayed each week. This will enable us to better understand and teach them. These records are also a part of our licensing requirements. Link to Application / Link to Discipline Policies/Procedures
We distribute a detailed handbook to parents about our policies and programs to facilitate our working together to help your child through his/her years at M.I.L.L.S.
