Thursday Night Basketball Ministry

The Thursday Night Basketball Ministry is a ministry that has been set into place in order to reach the community. The church has opened its doors for this ministry in order to help reach the young men and old in the community.

The ministry is not only for the community, but also for the youth of the church. It gives them an opportunity to stay engaged in a positive type atmosphere surrounded by brothers who love the Lord.

The program takes place every Thursday night from 7:30p.m. to 10:00 p.m. We start the night off with a prayer, after which a 5 to 10 minute bible lesson is given, and sometimes the floor is open to let the brethren just share some of their life experiences about how God is blessing them through the Ministry.

We ask that everyone who comes in leave a $1.00 donation and so far the response has been beautiful and once you have done that we ask that you sign in so that you’ll be ready to play once your name is called.

This is a joyous occasion and lives have truly been impacted and changed because of it. Also through this Ministry it gives you an opportunity to join in with some of the other activities such as the overnight boys lock in, where we play ball video games and much more all night. Our Sunday School stay in school jam meets with another church and competes against ages from 6 to 24. These events are wonderful experiences.
