Sunday School Ministry
Mission Statement: To provide a caring
environment in which all Students can:
• Learn and understand God’s Word
• Find a connective support system
• Grow and mature in the Body of Christ and demonstrate

The Sunday school exists to win and train individuals as
Christians. Teachers help engage students in the study of
God’s word through bible based, life-application, creative
hands-on and technology/media enriched activities.
Classes are offered for all age groups from nursery to
seniors and meet every Sunday morning in the Mt. Sinai Development
Center from 9:15am-10:30am.
Our average attendance is 250-300 students. Each year our
teachers are required to attend a mandatory teachers certification
workshop and other training is provided at the state and
national level.
New Members
We welcome each of you to the Mt. Sinai Family! We pray
that our nurturing, caring, and enthusiastic environment
will help you grow in knowledge, assist with your needs,
and provide a place for you to serve. We offer a wonderful
training class for our new members. The Baptist and Christian
Fundamentals (BCF) class meets every Sunday morning at 9:15am
in the church sanctuary choir room. For more information

Bible Study
To help us rightly divide the word of truth, mid-week bible
study classes are offered every Wednesday at noon and 7:30pm.
Our Pastor, the main teacher for the evening bible study,
offers classes on a variety of topics to help the believer
grow in every aspect of the Christian life. During the evening
bible study, classes are offered for all age groups from
nursery to seniors and meet in the Mt. Sinai Development
Center
Baptist Training Union (BTU)
By providing group study in Baptist doctrine, church history,
missions, and evangelism, BTU focuses individuals on becoming
stronger leaders, followers, and workers for Christ.
Classes are offered for all age groups from nursery to
seniors and meet every First Sunday morning in the Mt. Sinai
sanctuary from 9:15am-10:30am. During this training time,
children are taught biblical principles and stories through
games, songs, activities, and bible based trivia. Classes
are offered for all age groups from nursery to seniors and
meet in the Mt. Sinai Development Center.
Prayer Meeting
While Christian Education focuses on study and growth, prayer
is essential for each of these to take place. Therefore,
we dedicate time as a church body to pray and thank God
for ministry and guidance in doing His service. We assemble
for prayer in the Mt. Sinai Development Center every Wednesday
evening at 7pm.
Vacation Bible School
Come join us for a fun-filled week of fun, fellowship, and
bible study during the month of June! Through worship, concentrated
bible study, recreation, activities, and ministry, we offer
church members and the community an opportunity to learn,
grow, and explore the word of God in an enthusiastic, relaxed
setting. Classes meet in the Mt. Sinai Development Center.

Computer
Lab
A fully equipped computer lab with internet access is provided
for Sinai members and the community. Users can receive computer
training, assistance with homework, and employable skills.

Tutorial/Homework Assistance
If you or your child are having difficulty with school work,
we are here to help. Come out and get assistance with your
studies or even to advance your knowledge. We meet every
Tuesday evening at 6pm in the Mt. Sinai Development Center.

Scholarship Ministry
We provide our students with scholarship, academic, career,
and cultural opportunities to help prepare them for college,
post-secondary training, and the workforce. For more information

Oratorical Ministry
This ministry cultivates public speaking, oration, and writing
skills in our young people. The goal is to equip our young
people with speaking skills and provide them opportunities
to use their oratory skills in church and community settings.
This training helps to build self-esteem, confidence, and
mastery of speaking, while preparing young people to excel
in school, future careers, life and telling others about
God’s word with boldness.
Literacy Ministry
Adults can learn to read and write in a private, confidential
setting with a personal tutor. For more information, please

Deaf Ministry
Come and visit our services! Sunday school and worship service
(10:45am) are interpreted for the deaf. If you have an interest
in learning about and sharing God’s word through sign language,
we welcome you to join our ASL classes. For more information,
