Deaconesses are the spiritual women of the church full of the Holy Ghost, who are willing to lend their wisdom and experiences in the roles of; discipleship, prayer, counselors and mentors.  Their lives in their homes, church and community will exemplify the characteristics set forth in Titus 2:5; discreet, chaste, keepers at home, excellent, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Deaconess Ministry should reach people through the following channels:
Reform, teaching, Evangelism, healing, and worship. It is required that all members of this ministry stay prayerful at all times.

Objectives:

General Responsibilities:

• Assist the Deacons in the preparation of Holy communion every first Saturday of each month
• Ensure the pulpit is fully dressed in preparation of Holy communion on the First Sunday of each month
• Administer communion to the sick and shut-in every first Saturday of each month
• Visit hospitals and help meet the needs of those who are incapacitated
• Participate in the monthly food/clothes give-away fourth Saturday of each month
• Develop and facilitate development training classes for the women based on spiritual needs
• Minister to incarcerated women every First Sunday of the month

• Do not get tied up with someone who does not share your God-given purpose
• The more you choose to walk in love, the deeper and stronger your roots will grow
