2008 MOTHERS MINISTRY
The Mother’s Ministry focus is to teach what is good according to the theme scripture Titus 2:3-5. The over-all goal of the ministry is to be engaged with the church ministries by appointing a mother to serve as the matriarch of each ministry in the church; and to be spiritual advisors for the younger women of the church as needed. Provide assistance to the candidates who are being baptized. The Mother’s will call the candidates and inform them of what they should bring in preparation for baptism. Minister to the candidates regarding their “first big step towards accepting Christ as their personal savior and Lord. Lastly, the mother’s “will” be the spiritual leaders of the church and will visit or call the sick and shut-in and those in convalescent homes.
