Long Term Goals
2008-2010

Vision Statement: To operate on one accord, striving for the advancement of the body of young believers, by operating all ways in a spirit of excellence.

Scripture: Main Overarching Theme-Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NKJV).Though one may be over powered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Year One: 2008- MOTIVATE / COMMUNICATE / EDUCATE ~ Matthew 28:18-20

Motivate: To urge; incite to an action or course; Stir up; Induce: lead onto specific action belief; Persuade.
Communicate: To impart; Transmit; as news. Communication: exchange ideas; conveyance of information
Educate: To develop or train the mind-capabilities and character by schooling or instructions; Teach.

  • Get all of the young people involved in Sunday school, Bible study, Church. (Motivate)
  • Find out what the needs and the wants are of all our young people.(Communicate)
  • Find ways of reaching them on their level of understanding. (Educate)

 

Year Two: 2009- EDUCATE / CULTIVATE / DEMONSTRATE ~ Proverbs 22:6

Educate: To develop or train the mind- capabilities and character by schooling or instructions; Teach.
Cultivate: To prepare and use land by plowing; to improve or develop by study, exercise, training; to cultivate the mind. Cultivator: A machine used to loosen the ground and destroy weeds.
Demonstrate: To explain or describe by use of examples; to explain or show the operation of or use of.

  • Recognize their level of understanding, and push them to a higher level of comprehension. (Educate)
  • Help prepare their minds by assisting in removing any thing that hinders them from receiving God’s word. (Cultivate)
  • Walk with them, showing them what a Christian should be. (Demonstrate)

 

Year Three: 2010- DEMONSTRATE / INVESTIGATE / OPERATE~ Isaiah 28:9

Demonstrate: To explain or describe by use of examples: to explain or show the operation of or use of.
Investigate: To search or inquire into; examine in detail
Operate: To control the working or function of; to conduct the affairs of; to operate a business. (The Father’s Business)

  • Get ready to transition from guiding and being an example of what a Christian should be.(Demonstrate)
  • Watch for things that will cause damage to what has been built. Paying attention to how they walk.  (Investigate)
  •  Wean them off of milk, allowing hands on control in different aspects of ministry and ministering. (Operate)
